Karyn Carlo

Karyn Carlo is a retired New York City Police captain turned theologian. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from the New School for Social Research and her Master of Divinity and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from Union Theological Seminary in New York City, where she studied with James Cone. She currently serves as the Interim Pastor of the Church-in-the-Garden (First Baptist) in Garden City, NY, and lectures at Mercer School of Theology.
