Emmaia Gelman is the author of a forthcoming history of the Anti-Defamation League from the University of California Press, and co-editor of The Anti-Defamation League: A Critical Reader forthcoming from Pluto Books in 2026. She is the founding director of the Institute for the Critical Study of Zionism and co-host of its podcast, “Unpacking Zionism.” She has taught at NYU, Sarah Lawrence College, and in many community spaces.
