Who We Are

Political Research Associates (PRA) is a nationally-recognized, expert resource for understanding and countering authoritarian forces in the U.S. and globally. With expertise grounded in deep relationships with justice movements, PRA has imbued over 40 years of liberatory and resistance strategies with critical knowledge and analysis of the most influential supremacist movements. PRA helps A mass movement that seeks to transform society and challenge existing power relationships by means other than (but often including) the political electoral process. PRA uses our expertise to strengthen movement strategy. 

We provide deep, ongoing strategic advisement with numerous frontline organizations and leaders on the forefront of fights for racial, gender, immigrant, trans and An umbrella acronym standing for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer or questioning. Our Vision

We envision a just and inclusive democratic society free from The use of violence, intimidation, surveillance, and discrimination, particularly by the state and/or its civilian allies, to control populations or particular sections of a population.
